We’re here
for life
We are the trusted voice of life insurers in Australia.
Our mission
Our mission is to support our members to build a strong and trusted life insurance industry, that provides accessible protection and support to millions of Australians every day.
We do this by advocating for national settings that improve access to life insurance and by being the leading voice on affordable, understandable and trusted insurance.
Our shared purpose
Our shared purpose across all CALI members is to help Australians and their families have peace of mind about their future so they can live in the most healthy, confident and secure way.
Our priorities
Strong Industry
Insurers can confidently individually respond to the impact of mental ill health through the responsive legislative and regulatory settings, industry guidance and partnerships.
Education & Advocacy
Our stakeholders have a deeper understanding of life insurance and value the role the industry plays in the economy, the health and disability landscape and the national financial safety net.
Accessible Insurance
More Australians have access to life insurance and retirement products direct through their insurer, through a financial adviser or through their superannuation fund.
Life Code of Practice
The Life Code is updated in a balanced manner, responding to industry needs and listening to stakeholder feedback about customer and community expectations.
