CALI supports strong action on climate change. We are very supportive of the Government’s emissions reduction commitments of 43 per cent by 2030 and net zero by 2050.
Overall, CALI supports the objectives proposed of the end goal of organisations reporting
their climate-related strategy, risks and emissions data. CALI supports the climate reporting framework. CALI proposals include phasing of reporting should be based on NGER emission metrics, clarity on who the end user of reporting data is and creation of a financial disclosure regime for non-publicly reporting entities.
